Hello!
I'm Laura, the founder of The Pamper Cabin and Dorset Pamper Parties - bringing beauty and joy to the south coast!
Based in the beautiful seaside town of Poole, I carry out classic beauty treatments in a beautiful and secluded wooden cabin. I also offer pamper parties in the cabin or at clients' houses and attend events and festivals across Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
After having had a career in events and project management for ten years, I decided I wanted a career change and signed up to do a beauty therapy course at my local college in 2014. I completed my Level 2 and 3 qualifications within two years and honed my beauty skills at a successful salon and spa in Suffolk, where I completed further training.
I moved to Dorset in 2016 and set up my mobile beauty business called the Pampervan (I had a gorgeous red and white van!) after my eldest was born. A few years later we moved into our first home, which came with a beautiful cabin in the garden....the van had to go, but the Pamper Cabin was born!
In 2022 I joined forces with Katie, a local beauty therapist, and set up Dorset Pamper Parties and we run pamper parties from the Pamper Cabin and at people's houses, holiday homes, etc. I hope to have another van one day (hence keeping the URL!).
My business combines my love for beauty, event organising and all things retro - and I haven't looked back!
I am trained in all Level 2 and Level 3 beauty therapy treatments and have achieved lots of extra training, e.g. pregnancy massage, dermaplaning, microneedling, etc. I have recently achieved my Level 3 and Level 4 teaching qualification as a Beauty Lecturer at Weymouth College. I absolutely love passing on my skills and passion to the next generation of therapists.
