What better way to mark International Women's Day than to introduce another very special lady in my life.....Queenie the Pampervan! 💕
It's been a dream of mine to have a campervan for over twenty years, ever since my nanna Queenie told me she had always dreamt of having her own ice cream van! When I had the light bulb moment a few years ago of using one to bring beauty treatments to people's homes, workplaces, events, festivals, etc and basically bring a bit of fun and sparkle to the world, I knew one day it would have to happen!! And here it finally is!!
Of course today is about so much more; it's about equality, freedom of speech, women's right to vote, being able to protect and do whatever you want with your body, stopping awful atrocities to women around the world, accessing clean water and free healthcare. It's about the women in my life, the ones who have brought me up and the ones who make me who I am. It's about the men who support us and believe in us, and make us break through those glass ceilings. And so much more.
But, right now in my world, it's about achieving dreams, thinking big, celebrating new beginnings and trying to make things work for ME! I feel blessed and empowered to start planning my own business whilst on maternity leave (mostly with Erin attached to my boob!) and I plan to roll it out when I'm ready to return to work later this year. If that's not being a #girlboss, I don't know what is!
